Sasha Crothers, To be touched by water teaching you to touch with your tongue but I just want to be touched skin to skin water to skin soaking in your own drink it in let it swirl inside you like the pull of a tide submerging myself in the consistency of crust leaking into the spaces between us to feel skin on mine is to be reminded that i am real for the deluge of sensation to a whisper that blurs the boundary with peace in the vulnerability of being seen tongue is a tool of articulation that’s sinking deep into the marrow a reminder that I exist beyond the surface of the ache Using the slippery instruments as moisture it slicks to the bone connection in the wettest way is the association of the surfaces seeping together with the rawness of learning how to take a bath in our emotions, 2024
